Ambassadors of HOPE are youth with lived experience aging out of the foster care system.
They have had significant involvement with RaisingHOPE and can speak to how we has encouraged or assisted them on their journey.
Ambassadors of HOPE are specifically selected to represent the organization and to assist in raising awareness and funds for youth in similar situations through RaisingHOPE.
Ambassadors, along with other adults with previous experience in the foster care system are part of our Lived Experience Advisory Designee Board (LEAD).
Our LEAD Board provides input to RaisingHOPE regarding how best to meet the needs of youth experiencing foster care, how to relate with cultural sensitivity, and how to maximize our impact in the community in tangible, lasting, and dignified ways.
